TM07 – Communication and Management

This course will examine the importance of communication for the sports team manager.

Having the ability to communicate with his or her players is the most fundamental roles of any team manager or coach. In fact it is safe to say that being able to communicate effectively is the most important of all life skills.
Communication is the process by which the team manager/coach exchanges information between himself and the management team and between the management team and the players on the squad. It is a process where he/she tries as clearly and accurately as possible, to convey his/her thoughts, intentions and objectives to the team.

Communication is successful only when both the team manager (sender) and the players (receiver) understand the same information. it is also successful when useful feedback is received and understood. sometimes this can come in the form of how well the players were listening and sometime it may come as an actual verbal response.

The overall course is divided into a series of excellent courses covering topics of interest to the team manager or head coach. Intending participants are invited to select the section or sections of interst to them. The overall aim is to assit them to become better managers.

It is the aim of premier Sports College to present modern state-of-the-art content at the best possible cost to the participants.
